Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Coding Prodigies (the "Service"), operated by Coding Prodigies. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.
1. Your account
You must provide accurate information when you sign up and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account. Accounts are for individual use -- don't share your login so multiple people can access paid content on one account.
2. Purchases and pricing
Courses, course packs, and subscription plans (Pro Monthly, Pro Annual, Lifetime Access) are billed through Stripe. Prices are shown in USD before you check out. If you already own individual courses and later upgrade to a subscription or Lifetime Access, the amount you've already paid is automatically credited toward the upgrade.
Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard -- you keep access through the end of the period you've already paid for, and it simply won't renew after that. Lifetime Access is a one-time purchase with no recurring charge and nothing to cancel.
3. Refunds
Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase if you haven't completed more than 20% of the course, requested via the Contact page.
4. Coupons and referrals
Coupon codes and referral rewards are provided at our discretion, are non-transferable, have no cash value, and may be limited to one use per account. We may deactivate or reclaim a coupon or referral reward if we reasonably believe it was obtained through abuse of the referral system (e.g. self-referral, fake accounts).
5. Course content and code execution
Lesson content, exercises, and exam questions are owned by Coding Prodigies and licensed to you for personal, non-commercial learning use only -- not for redistribution or republishing. Code you write in hands-on exercises is sent to a third-party sandboxed execution service to run it (see the Privacy Policy) -- don't submit anything through an exercise that you wouldn't want processed by that third party.
6. Certificates
Certificates confirm that you completed a course's lessons (and passed its final exam, where one is required) on this platform. They are not an accredited academic credential and we make no guarantee about employment or other outcomes. Certificates are publicly verifiable by their verification code so anyone can confirm one is genuine.
7. Acceptable use
Don't: share or resell your account access, attempt to bypass payment or exercise-grading systems, abuse the referral or coupon system, upload malicious code through the code-execution exercises, or use the Service in a way that disrupts it for other users.
8. Account termination
You can delete your own account at any time from Account Settings -- this removes your progress, certificates, and reviews, and cancels any active subscription. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
